LOL, XD, so I'm finally finished with Ryan's room XD. And I have good timing cause really it was just in time for his birthday on Wednesday, LOL, YES!! He's born on Naruto's Birthday! But he had a Yugi-Oh, LOL, he and I need to have a chat XD. Sorry Raz no car bed, his mum wanted him to use her old bed from when she was a kid 0.o, so I painted some cars on there for him *Nice guy pose* (actually the cars themselves are decoupage I just painted the background XD). Anyway I'll hopefully have more time now to get back to more fun things!! Like y!Gall and FanArt, LOL, yes, I'd rather be drawing Naruto or Sasuke, Sasuke likes me recently for some reason, he's not giving me any trouble and Naruto's being a pain 0.o, but LOL, that's just me trying to get some pics done so I don't come back empty handed *crosses fingers* LOL, here's a small preview, the full gallery is in my Scrapbook - Ryan's Room, but the pics should link to it (click on one of the pics with the bed!)

Hey, things have been interesting. Anyone who's squeamish probably shouldn't read this. I'm really only posting it to try and get it out of my head before I have to go to sleep tonight.

My sister is the headmistress of a primary school, and every year her 11+children go on a trip to Tobago as a brain cooler/reward for getting through their exams and as a farewell from the school. Tobago is a tourist island mainly, so they go to hang around on the beacj and visit the forts. Well this year there was an accident on the beach. Two teenagers were snorkeling and and swam over to the far and deserted side of the beach. Please, don't ever do that if you go snorkeling or even just swimming in the ocean. They were run over by a boat. To make it worse, all the children were on the beach, and their teachers were the first people to make it over to the teens. Every year it's mandatory for them to take a medical professional, in case something happens to one of the children. In this case that was very lucky for the teenagers. as the teachers ended up giving them first aid. The entire event was thoroughly traumatic though and there was a counseling session today for all the people from her school that were involved. My sister was on the beach but she says she doesn't remember too much cause she was busy trying to keep the children calm and away from the other teachers. The two teens are alive, the girl is doing well, she lost a finger and is pretty cut up, but she'll be fine. The boy on the other hand got a really bad blow to the head and hasn't woken up yet. To make it even sadder, apparently his mother works with my Dad. I keep wondering how in hell did I only find out about this today and thinking that I'm really glad I didn't go with them this year.

The only thing I can think of right now is to be really thankful that you guys are all safe and well.

LOL, so the funniest thing, right. I went to my very first Yoga class the other day, O.o Yeah... let's just say, it was disastrous XD. But HA! I persevered and somewhat finished the class, although I can't really do half the things you're supposed to. yeah, picture me and my broko self trying to do downward dog O.o ROFLMAO!!!! Oh and the crowning achievement was me coming home after my "detox" workout to eat three twinkies the minute I walk through the door :S. LOL, but hey, I figured if I detoxed too much my body would go into shock and shut down, so I'm looking at it as preventative measures - That's my story and I'm sticking to it - Glue XD.

Heh, :scratches head and looks sheepish: I really haven't been here in a while, have I. Sorry Mera. I have no excuse cause honestly I can't really remember for the life of me what I've been doing. I guess I'm sort of having a kick of depression and seclusion. Sound fun, ne? It's not that bad, I see a lot of my family, how've you been? The most eventful things that's happened to me over the last month is that I met some new family from Canada, well they're not really new to the family, but they were new to me :D. They live in Canada - Giselle and her daughter Jada, they have some find of funky german last name, like hammermister of something, I'm 100% sure I got that wrong, but it's okay. We went to the beach and did stuff I haven't done in a really, Really Long time. Like build sand castles and make canon balls out of sand. It was fun XD. It makes you realise the simple joys of having kids around. Everything amuses them, and Jada is trip. One day at lunch she was being naughty, not really naughty to silly miserable little things, and her mum asks her, "Jada-Marie what I am supposed to do with you?" and she's so cute, replies with all seriousness, "Feed me and love me." XD.

Hehehe, I know what's with the subject? Well I went to renew my license yesterday and I remembered why I love my country :D. Was just standing there in the very long line and decided to take in the sights, and damn were there some sights, makes me wish I had my camera. So I could share the wealth. Anyway I know that was a somewhat depressing way to spend Ash Wednesday, which is a holiday for many here. Mainly because Carnival was the Monday and Tuesday before :). Don't have any pics of that except for the kiddies in the school where I work playing mas on Friday check them out aren't they so cute?

Hey, nothing really to say. Just haven't posted in a long time so I decided it was time for something new. So I started a new job. I'm working in the office at my old primary school. Almost everyone in my family has worked there at some point it's funny. My mum was on the board, my sister is the VP and brother taught Karate there. Some small family trivia for the masses. Anyhoo, I like it. I basically get to dick around on the 'puter everyday, write letters, make flyers and photocopy shit. Recently I've been calling people about admissions interviews for the fall, LOL, nobody is ever at work, it makes me wonder how the country keeps running. Anyway the only sucky thing is that I have no internet access. But since this is me we're talking about that's probably a really good thing. I'd probably just read fanfics and instant message people all day. Well now I guess I did have something to say afterall. I should try this more often no agenda just write whatever's in my head. That could be bad though, the inside of my head isn't exactly the safest place in the world. Oh well, life would be no fun if some of us weren't nutty. Okey Dokey, that's it for me, Ja mata minna.

Can you believe it? It's 2007, when did life start to go by so very fast? Anyway here I am just dropping a line to say hello all and Best of Luck for this brand spanking new year. My dorkiness still reigns in the fact that what I'm most excited about is an end to all fillers - Bleach is back on track in Janurary and Naruto soon after in February, don't believe me check out the official TV Tokyo site. Wow, my mum said to me yesterday that next weekend is Christmas... :S and she's right. Geez am I bad at updating this thing. Oh well I guess I can give it a more concerted try. God knows I don't have to be eloquent. Anyway I love my brother, he's such an odd cat. Walked out of my room this morning and well I'll have to try and upload the pic cause I took a pic. Oh and I have become notoriuosly bad at checking my email, now that i've graduated, but I just signed up to be a beta at AFF so I'm going to try to get back into the swing of things. Hopefully that'll mean more updates :) Hehehe my brother just woke up saw what I was doing and looked me like - you dork :D

Okay, so I'm sitting on my bed reading and all of a sudden I hear... drums?? Then I realized, I've been hearing them for a while but that they're getting louder, and then I'm like... WTF!!?? is there a Marching Band outside my house?? And sure enough I go out and there they were... A MARCHING BAND!!! It was so weird all these high school kids in their cadet uniforms followed by other kids in school uniforms, isn't it Sunday!!??!! That was just sooo weird, but kind of cool... they had trumpets and everything, okay so my brother was asleep and got pretty pissed cause they woke him up... It was just too weird I had to share.

Today is Chinese Arrival day!!! A new holiday we started this year, it's kinda cool, my mum got all involved. There was a Dragon boat race and a lion dance and all my little cousins joined the Chinese steelpan band. It's also just nice to have another holiday and it's on Jo's b'day. Happy Birthday Jo Jo!!! It's been a nice respite from life. Big Love to everyone.

life and death

Life has become a series of unfortunate incidents. I don't really know what to think about it, but all the elders seem to be passing on. My grandfather died yesterday, and Llewy's granny died today. Uncle David's dad also died last week and Uncle Donald's is very ill. But I'm not going to think to much about that, they both lived long and good lives, and now they're on to bigger and better things, but life is going to be crazy for the rest of us for a while.

Thanks Janine, Kelly and Sasha. I'm missing you'll. Tell everyone Hi for me. Chimere, Tanisha, Linda, Bizzarro, Pat, Michael everyone. I want to hear about things with you'll, how is everything going. And Janine you know I want to hear about your senior project, that's sounds really cool and actually kind of funny (I know it's probably not meant to be). Hope everyone else is getting on better than I am.

Life has become a series of rainy days and the ache has settled into my bones. It's cool though I just knocking around here, thinking of life and love and wondering if any of it's worth it in the end. Wow, that was a little somber. I didn't mean it that way, i was going for philosophical. On a lighter note, my days are filled with reading, drawing and sewing, occasionally I'll paint but mostly I'm to lazy to want to set everything up, and to use oils in rainy weather is a bit of a hassle, because they take even longer than usual to dry. But life is good getting paid to do the stuff you like to do. I'm not sure if it'll evolve into a living, but this is just transitional. Still looking into applying to a masters program in London, but grrr, getting back into the habits of school is not something I'm looking forward to a whole lot. I know I should just suck it up, cause the longer I put it off the worse it'll get. Oh well, such is life.
